Our very first step was when in 1969, a visionary from experience as an employee in a sweets shop wished to explore business opportunities

Founder Late Shri S. Ramaswamy, with all passion for traditional recipes perfected by exotic ingredients and experience in the art of making sweets and savories. He started a small shop in Bodinayakanur, a small but significant town in Theni district Tamil Nadu with its few delicacies

This modest shop started gaining popularity among the people of the town and scaled up to meet the demand for its hand-made traditional savories and coined them as the brand Sri Murugambal Lala Mittai Kadai

The group has vision in major expansion plans to open retail outlets across south Tamilnadu to sell sweets, snacks and ready-to-eat titbits and fast food products in different formats. Sri Murugambal will find presence across south Tamilnadu through express retail outlets, takeaways, casual dining retail outlets for family dining. The group plans to enter the export market of ready-to-eat packed snacks and savories. This will start with exports to the US, Europe and Middle East markets.
